Yes I believe that's true. I think it's related to the 2008 production of the Acadia and Outlook and perhaps the 2nd row console for the Enclave.

Argh...and I just got my production number of 3000, but no estimated time for its build! :banghead: :eek:hno:

Does anyone know if the second row consoles are available yet?

My Dealer said today that the Consoles are late availability and we can't order right now. My order still has not been picked up and the order was placed on May 18th. He said he might not be able to change my order for the Console. He also said he could wait until the Console is available and then re-order for me.
Now tell me GM isn't screwing up. I've waited all this time, can't get what I want, and waiting for the order to be picked up, and now I might have to order again. If I have to wait, you would think the dealer could add to the order but he can't. He'll have to re-order all over again. That doesn't make sense. :banghead:

My order has yet to be picked up after a month now. And when I called on Tues, they told me that the order will not be picked up for another 2 or more weeks because of this plant shutdown.

Plus, even though my back property line (albeit in the middle of the River) is the CA/AZ border, I am not eligible for the Chrome Package Discount. Also read on the Acadia Forum that future GM incentives will not include the Enclave because it is such a hot 'seller'.
I am currently driving a perfectly good low mileage Pacifica with the same bells & whistles + as the Enclave. Makes me wonder, as I sit and read all of the internet forums, why I am even bothering GM/Buick with my measly little order.

.

Mines at 10+ weeks (4/23) right now with no end in sight. I'd say get ready for a long wait. Sure would like to know how these orders are entered for building. I sure don't think that it is the order that they are recieved. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones. Good luck!

Ticner - Ordered ours 4/21 and picked it up today. Your delay baffles me. Is there anything about your order that would account for some or all of the delay? Have they given you any reason that makes sense? I'm sure I'm asking questions that you've answered many times over, but just curious.

Nothing special. Red Jewel Tintcoat CX, Ebony Cloth, Driver Confidence Pkg., Machined Alum. Wheels, Power Sunroof, Cargo Shade/Net, Block Heater. Basic Enclave with a few extra's. The worst thing is that we wasted 2 weeks trying to buy a Outlook (terrible dealer). Then tried to order a 2007 Acadia and waited 2 weeks before we found out that gm wasn't taking any more orders. Now here we are waiting patiently. Thankfully though we didn't get the Outlook or Acadia, after seeing the Enclave I would have been sick because I like the styling far better than the other two. By the way, Congratulations!!

Hot seller my #[email protected]%&#........ :banghead: Make the vehicle available, then we might call it a hot seller. I'm starting to feel like you. It's almost like saying "Please sell me a Car". I'm not going to beg. I'll play their silly game for awhile, but now I'm not feeling too sorry for GM. Some of their problems are brought on by them.

ordered mine 4/16 still no build date. having owned fords (explorer..expedition) it's my first gm experience... unimpressed to say the least. they finally build a car that generates a lot of interest, then blows it on how they're handling the orders. no wonder they're in the tank. feel sorry for the stock holders. if you can't capitalize on something this hot...then, there isn't much hope for this company.

I did see 2 car carriers this morning at a truck stop I go by loaded with Enclave's and Acadia's, no Outlooks. At least their out still doing deliveries while production is shut down. At least there is hope for those of us with them on order.

All I can say is we need to look on the upside of this. When was the last time GM had a vehicle that started out this hot? If the Enclave was a re-incarnation of my "RENDEZVOUS" we would not be patiently standing in line for our Enclave mnor would we be talking about it. My Rendezvous has 113,00 mile and I will drive it till next year and it has been a good car but it won't win a beauty contest. The Enclave is one good looking car plus the interior has been well designed. It looks as if Buick/GM has it a home run. As mentioned before it took my wife about 90 seconds to select the Enclave over the Outlook and Acadia. No other car was even in the running. Although I would like an Enclave now we are going to wait till after the first of the year and by then the rush will be all over. (I hope) I am convinced the wait on these cars will be worth the wait. Think about this...When was the last time we were this excited about an American built car? Soooooooo...we might have to wait in line I believe the wait will be worth it. You know what they say..."patience is a virtue...patience means an Enclave"

Sorry, probably heading south. I'm about 30 miles south of Ft. Wayne, In. They were at a truck stop off of I-69, around 2 1/2 hours from Lansing, MI.

You guys that ordered back in April are really scaring me. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer for you.
I'm going to try to not even really think about it until we get to the 7 or 8 week mark. Then I'll start worrying that we may be one of the "unlucky" ones.
