Ok, I'm sure it's posted somewhere but I can not seem to find it. Are there instructions for posting pictures to the gallery? I'd like to post some Monday night.

Its really easy, and here is the link! http://www.enclaveforum.net/index.php?topic=15.0

zman - the tricky part is the very first step. After clicking on Gallery, look for the small link in the upper right corner called "your album". Once you click that, it will populate the left hand nav panel with all the tools you need to add/delete albums, images, etc.

I have no idea why that "your album" link is so obscure and not listed in the left navigation panel...
Admin, I read your reply to zMan and I attempted to send pictures and failed. This morning I thought that I would ask youse if I sent several pictures( one of which most people will never see) to your e-mail address, will you post them for me ?It's a very interesting picture of the Buick Enclave. Thanks. Rocketman :blob:

rocketman - I got your email - great pics!! I can see, though, that you haven't logged into your album yet. I need you to do that before I can add your pics to it. BY putting these in your personal gallery, people will be able to click the little camera icon (see it below my username on the left?) and go directly to your gallery.

I'm getting quite a few questions on this, but so far only a handful of people have created galleries, so maybe it's more confusing that I understand. So do these steps exactly and it should be no problem:

1) At the top of every page is a navigation bar, just below the News, containing several buttons: Home, Help, Search, Profile, Gallery, etc. Click on "gallery".

2) The very first time you go to the gallery, you'll be prompted for a password - this is the same password you use to login to your forum account. After the first time, you'll no longer be prompted for your password, as it ties you gallery access to your forum access. Then you'll be taken to the Gallery main page, showing all current albums.

3) In the top right corner (straight across from the bright orange "gallery" logo), there's a tiny link called "Your Album" - click on this link. Doing this for the first time will create your personal gallery. It will then show up on the main gallery page, and you'll have the little camera icon beside your posts that links directly to it.

4) Once you are in Your Gallery, you'll have several links down the left side nav panel, such as "Add Album" which lets you create sub-albums within your gallery, "add comments", "add items" to add new images to your gallery. To add your first photo, click "add items"

5) You'll now see a panel open across the top with several tabs on it - these are the various ways you can add items to your gallery. You can look at each one, but the two you'll use most often are the ones on each end:
a) From Web Browser - quickest way to add one or two images from your PC
b) Upload Applet - This takes 30-45 seconds to start (Java Applet), but it's a very quick and easy way to upload lots of pics at once. Just keep in mind that you can only upload 8MB at a time, and no single photo can be bigger than 2MB (server limits).

Again though, I'm willing to even post your pics, but I need you to at least do steps 1-3.

Thanks!

I've posted pictures of our new Cocoa/Cashmere CXL AWD in the gallery. Enjoy.
Zamn,

Nice pics. I think I like the combination.

1 Question is the Cashmere as light coloured as the pictures show or is it just the lighting? Or maybe it is my monitor?
It's a function of the flash. It is not that light. That is one of the reasons we picked the Cocoa colored exterior. We actually thought it may hold up slightly better than the Titanium interior. I would say that the cashmere is quite close to the tan in Ford's Eddie Bauer if you know what that looks like.

I'll post a couple of more without flash, but it is getting dark here so these new ones may give a false sense of how dark it is.
Hi Zman,

Great pics! thanks for posting them.

I noticed that your car doesn't have the second row console. Did you have the option not to include it?
I would not have wanted the console anyway, but it is not available as an option until sometime later on, August I believe.
ZMAN, Congratulations, nice color combination.
I received my June Issue of Motor Trend today and I didn't like the comparison test between the Acadia, Accura, and the Mazda Crossovers. The Acadia came up short but,it was the heaviest of the three vehicles. There were some good points too, but it came in last. Hopefully, the differences in the Enclave and the Acadia will off set the results enough that the Enclave would do a little better. Good luck with yours. :blob:
ZMAN,

Thanks for the no flash pics. Looks more like what I had in mind.

Have interest with the better half on the Cashmere interior.

You know, I really like car magazines, especially C&D. But I don't give a rats hind end what they have to say about trucks and SUV's. These vehicles are not sports cars. Give me the space and seating flexibility of the Lambda's over the supposedly sportier handling of the CX-9 and MDX any day. The Enclave suits me quite well.

rocketman - I got your pics added to your gallery. Guys, he has a couple pics of a split color enclave - go check out his album! Remember, you can click the little camera icon under the name in a post to link directly to that member's gallery.

One of the reasons we are getting Enclave or Acadia is that we do not want a minivan. We need decent room in all rows. We are getting it for room not for making donuts or figure 8s in the parking lot.

Now first of comparing Acadia with MDX is totally off. The MDX is more than 10 inches shorter than Acadia. Acaida is 500+ pounds heavier than CX-9 but again has more stuff packed into it. If you look closer there is fraction of difference between CX-9 and Acadia, I dont have the article in front of me, but almost all the numbers were .1 to .5 range. Will 0-60 in 8.3 seconds will be so much noticable than 8.4seconds?

As long as it can go up to the highway moving speed before the ramp ends it is good for me.
i agree.... not buying this vehicle to do figure 8's in a parking lot... pretty funny, but, true.

i have ordered an enclave because i found it to be the best riding suv, that didn't ride like one, that had the most room, that i could fit in.

i'm 6' 5 ".

i'll be trading in my expedition. the enclave runs circles around my expedition
So why was there a split color enclave there??
Zman, I agree with you. The article sure didn't change my mind. I still stand by what I said earlier......The first fully loaded White Diamond that arrives at my Dealer or any other dealer in my area, I'll do my best to take it off their hands. :blob:
admin, Thanks for posting the pictures for me. That was very nice of you and I appreciate it.
The split color was a special set-up for training local dealers. If you notice, it has window and sunroof accessories on just one side. There was approx., 8 or 9 Enclaves, a Lexus, and an Accura there for comparison. The Dealers actually drove the vehicles. I found out about the presentation and went down to see them the day before the Dealers arrived. I sat in the split colored one and checked out that great sounding stereo and other accessories. I checked it out for about 45 minutes, then went out to see all of the others. They were all lined up and on one of the pictures you can see a few of them.
Again, thanks Admin. :blob:

rocketman - no problem. I just noticed the VERY slick integrated assist steps in teh split color photo. Very nice! I wonder if they have that same style for my Acadia... ;)
