I’ve got a 2010 enclave that I’ve owned for about 4 months. I’ve been having problems with my power steering, I’ll be driving and going to make a turn and lose my power steering and make another and it will be fine again. I checked the fluid reservoir and it is just below the max line. I don’t hear any whining. I’m wondering is it a common problem and does anyone know anything I could do to resolve this without doing to an auto shop.

Your Power Steering pump is failing. Depending on your mileage, it may be covered under and extended warranty.(10 years in service/150,000 miles/240,000 kms)
However, why is your PS fluid low? If its a leaking steering gear/rack, they won't replace your PS Pump. You will have to fix the Gear first, which will be north of $1200 at the dealer.
Best make an appointment with a dealer and they will look at it. There should be no charge as it should fall under "Special Coverage 14329"

Good luck
