Maybe you are talking about the center console. If you slide back the little "roll top" cover between the cupholders and the sliding armrest you will see the shallow storage bin. This is removable. If you remove it, you are left with quite a deep storage area. I question whether a purse would fit in there however.

I have not done it a lot, but I do think it is easier to slip between the two buckets into the third row than to use the smartslide and get back there. Just my $0.02.

Sorry if I am budding into your discussion and confusing matters, but I was comparing the smart slide to the second row captains without the center console. I think it is easier to step into the second row and then slip between the seats than to go behind the smartslide. Once again, my $0.02.

Good then it will be cheaper as well. :thumb: It's what I have. I love it.

As an engineer I just can't understand the logic, that 15 inches of clearance is better than 20.

As an engineer also, my logic makes total sense to me. :rock:
