somewhere on here it was posted that gm's backlog was really high. my dealer has only 1 enclave and it is not fully loaded. the others that they have on order for their allocation are part of the backlog and that info is per my dealer.
We ordered ours on April 23rd and they still have not pulled our order for production. It took 4 weeks to except the order!!! Our dealer said he had the same problem with another order that was placed back in March. It will be at least 8-10 weeks before we receive ours!!!

:sosad: :angryfire:
8-10 weeks from today or from your order?

and how do you know it's 8-10 weeks.

thanks
geeze i hope it doesnt take that long later this year! :angryfire:
8-10 weeks from time of order. The dealer felt like our order would be pulled this week, and if not he would call and see what the issue is. The dealer originally told us when we ordered that it would be the normal 4-6 weeks. A week or so later he told us that was not the case and it would probably be 8-10 weeks from the date of ordering.

We figured the 4-6 week time frame was not going to happen when we seen that the first Enclave rolled off the production line on April 11th. We're ok with the 8-10 weeks, but the closer that date gets the more anxious we get!!!

8 to 10 weeks is perfectly normally for any of the lambda's.

i ordered on 4/3 and it rolled onto the dealer lot on 5/19
Did you order from a larger sized dealer? The dealer we ordered from is one of the smaller dealers in the area. I wonder if the larger dealers get perference since they do higher volumes.
I placed my order on 5/15 and according to my dealer the order has been accepted by GM production control. It is in line to be built but no build date yet.

I wonder if some people are waiting longer than others because of options or interior and exterior color selections.
I ordered my Enclave March 30th. It has been built and sent to"The Point Of Delivery" In Florida. That is where it was unloaded from the train rail car and
and has been waiting to be trucked here for over a week. I live in a smaller town and the truck lines won't bring vehicles here until they have a full load.
Maybe I'll see it this week. The Dealer Told me 8-12 weeks delivery.

CXL FWD
Red Jewel Tint With Cashmere Interior
Driver Confidence Package
Luxury Package
19" Chrome Wheels
Heavy-Duty Tow Package
Rear Cargo net and Shade
Entertainment Package #3
So, even with the shipping delay that puts you at about 8 weeks out. Not bad.
I ordered the following May 5th in South Florida:

CXL 4dr SUV AWD (3.6L 6cyl 6A) with interior cocoa and cashmere
98U White Diamond Tricoat Paint
UZR Entertainment Package #4
PCX FTC Chrome Package (P65 19" Chrome Wheels and C3U Dual Skyscape Sunroof )
PCK CXL Luxury Package
PCI Driver Confidence Package
V92 Trailering Provision Package

I still have not been given any order status number, but was told by my dealer that the "regional manager" now had my order and was expediting this order by two or three weeks (i.e., but from what time frame, which they never disclosed?!) This was told to me when I tried to add the cargo net and shade to my order. I was told that I could not add this at this point without changing my position for its production? Again, this may be in part because I worked out a deal that may cost the dealer $500 if it is not delivered before the "conquest offer" expires. We also put a 10% deposit on this car. So, in summary, I have no idea when it is going to pulled into production, built and/or delivered?!
:banghead: :angryfire: :-[ ???

Gator,

Your problem might be the White Diamond Tricoat. We originally ordered one on May 2nd but then were told that even though they 'accepted' the order, they weren't actually going to put it in the queue, if you will, because of a delay on the White Diamond paint. So they couldn't tell me when they would even start building special order white diamond paint cars, much less how long it would take to build. The dealer had actually previously ordered a white diamond with the options close enough to ours that came in and we ended up buying that when it came in since (by May 11th, 9 days later) no one had any idea how long the build would take, or when they'd even start. As a matter of fact, check this link - it's not a GM link, but it does show the White Diamond on hold. https://www.wheels.com/fleet/reference/assembly/html/assembly_lines.asp

Your order sounds like it was in the exact same status mine was, I would call your dealer Tuesday morning and tell them that you heard there was a production delay/hold on white diamond and ask him to give you a more complete answer.

Good luck and let us know!

I ordered from a very small dealer just outside Charlotte. It was the first (and only) one they have seen so far. The larger dealers in Charlotte have gotten a few in. I think one has 4 on the lot right now.
I ordered on May 18. Another order, 2 weeks earlier had not been picked up at GM. I checked again today, and the 2 week order is now over 3 weeks and it still hadn't been picked up, nor has mine. The Dealer said he will call tomorrow and see what the hold up is. That might be good for me, because it might speed mine up a little, however, mine is White Diamond so, I probably need to stop wishful thinking and face reality.

Will do! I will call my dealer tomorrow, but from what you just explained ... I can only see more delays on the horizon as well as no straight answers from the dealer regarding its status.
I ordered on 4/23 and all I have is a order number that was generated when the order was entered, nothing else. My biggest regret was that I wasted 2 weeks trying to order or dealer trade for and Acadia, only to be shot down on both. I very glad that those deals fell thru. I wouldn't have been happy with the Acadia after seeing the Enclave in person. I could have been 2 weeks further along in my Enclave wait though and that's the frustrating part. Still hope to have it by the week of the July 4th for vacation, but I won't be suprised if it's later.
Update: I personally visited my dealer today and was told that my Enclave was accepted for production, but not yet being built (i.e., I still have not been given a production number of any kind). When I asked specifically about the white diamond tri-coat color "hold" issue, I was told that there was currently a temporary hold on production for this color and that all dealers are being limited to only 10% of all their orders in this color. Apparently only a few Enclave's in this color have been made prior to the hold, so if you have one you are lucky. He also said that mine is going to be placed further up in the "queue" for production through the intervention of the regional sales manager since they are considering my Enclave currently as a sold unit - perhaps the hefty deposit helped.
