Sounds like a shock going bad or possibly a strut.
Sounds like a character from a Dick Tracy comic book!!!medicrxdoc said:Swaybar endlink?
That could be caused by failing bushings.Matno said:Mine is doing the same thing. It's a subtle noise and I'm thinking it's related to the extreme cold temperatures we've been experiencing. It almost sounds like something that is normally padded is now rattling because the pads are stiff...

You also may have to bend them away from whatever they are shielding (sometimes they get too close and will rattle against whatever they are shielding). I had an annoying noise like that and the dealer check the shields -- noise gone!! :blob:
both could be exacerbated by unusually low temps. the former if it's a "tinny" rattle; the latter if it's a "clunking".GoldEnclave said:That could be caused by failing bushings.
That's the way mine was... a bad end link. Probably any bad bushing in the front end would have a similar "clunk.cngizbleevng said:Definitely a knocking sound with no metallic character to it at all. Thanks for the suggestions!
