rattle when going over bumps....

The last couple months I've noticed a knocking or rattling sound when going over bumps, even small ones. It sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment and possibly on the passenger side.

I looked under the hood and didn't feel any loose parts.

Is there a common cause for this that anyone can point out to me? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
