Yes I have seen one in public. When I purchased my car which is Cocoa, they had a fully loaded CArbon metallic Enclave for a GM executive sitting next to mine. The color to me is a DARK grey steel look with a Metallic finish. It actually is very nice. If I was looking for a grey car that would be it, for that is the NEW silver so to speak. IT is dark in color the CHrome accents all over the car really sets it apart from others. Plus it probably will not show as much dirt as most colors as well, if that is a concern. I have not seen the red color, but that color will show everything, even though it will sure look good. Do you have any other questions. I hope I have helped.

So it is like Carbon Metallic on Acadia? I thought that color had late availability is it available now? That would be my first choice if it is.

The Acadia Carbon Metallic (62U) paint is/was available on the 2007 models only.
The 2008 color Carbon Black Metallic (58U) will be an additional charge color on both the Enclave and Acadia. It is also known as Carbon Flash (58U) on the 2008 Outlook, but interestingly not identified as a premium cost.

It is late availability but since it was for a buick exec. well it doesnt have to be late available to them!

The Carbon Black Metalic and the Dark Crimson Metalic were added to the Online Order Guide as of 5/14, so I assume they should be available to order currently. alles02 has already seen one (black), so the color must be mixed and tested. I always thought black would be way too hot here in the desert, but might change my mind if I see one. There is an awful lot of black Escalades and Navigators on the local roads. Also, my garage is airconditioned. ;D
Still no word on the DK1 rear console since it was removed from the Guide 1/29. :sosad:

Cool, it looks like I will have to order mine since no good colors are currently available by us. I will try to order the Black if possible.
