Very nice article.... I especially love the opening: Quiet as a tomb. Less expensive than an Audi. Able to drive down the highway at 24 miles per gallon. It's a Lexus. It's an Acura. Nope, it's a Buick. :thumb:
I am turning in a fully loaded 2004 Volvo XC90 T-6 with AWD for mine!Static said:We traded in our Nissan Armada which was hard to do because we loved it. It was almost out of warranty and the gas mileage was killing us. 16.5 on the highway!
I was feeling depressed in that we would have to get a (ughhhh) minivan to keep the practicality of the Armada but better mileage. Then along came the Lambda tripletts! We fell in love with the Enclave and the rest was history.
What did you see in the Enclave over the XC90?Gator said:I am turning in a fully loaded 2004 Volvo XC90 T-6 with AWD for mine!
1st thing is space... the 3rd row in the volvo is virtually useless. I have a volvo s60 and had considered the xc90 because i like volvo. however, the suv is still too small.Canuck said:What did you see in the Enclave over the XC90?
First, let me say that I have truly enjoyed my Volvo and have not had an significant issues with it at all. Great SUV in general! Drives great in all conditions. But... here is what is having me pick the Enclave: Better gas mileage first. Mine averages 15 mpg and requires premium for the turbo. Better room in third row in Enclave. Safety - better front crash rating (e.g., see new TV commercials - three listed - on the Buick.com Enclave link - first commercial compares the Enclave to the Lexus 350, Mercedes R500 and the Volvo XC 90). More leg room up front in Enclave - Volvo is narrow and my knee hits the right side. Tires cost big bucks ($250 each) on the Volvo for special VR rated tires. Similar warranty. Great price even with all the added bling. :blob:Canuck said:What did you see in the Enclave over the XC90?
