I got something in mail from Buick marked "Urgent timed material" I quickly opened to check if I got lucky enough they the send some kind of mail coupon, exclusive offer etc etc, but all the excitment subsided as it turned out to be some stupis marketing material from buick about enclave, like the two closest dealers and their contact info, the base MSRP !!!!!

For some strange reason I got 3 of the darned things. Oh well that sound you hear is that of another tree falling.
Now I can keep 1 in each of my restrooms as reading material.
Now if only they would send me an couple of cash back offers I would not sound sarcastic.

Since I already have more knowledge than 80% of Buick's sales force, I need some kind of Coupon rather than same old stuff ;D

I second that motion. I too have had to inform the people at dealership of the facts and specifications concerning the Enclave and it's different flavors.
I personally have talked to at least 3 different couples and convinced them that the Enclave is THE vehicle to buy.
I think that deserves something......

I also recieved a packet from GM. I had asked for information on the Enclave and the Lucerne. The packet contained the Lucerne info and a one page letter. The letter stated, "Thank you for your interest in the all-new 2007 Buick Enclave. You can expect the information you requested to arrive in the near future". It was signed "The Enclave Team". 2007, give me a break. No wonder the dealers don't know whats going on. The GM information to the public is outdated and incomplete. Probably the same for the dealers. Meanwhile, day 87 is here in my great Enclave wait. Will he get his or not? Stay tuned.

Wow day 87! have you browsed dealers inventory in your area, someone might have just like the one you ordered? I certainly found some while looking here in 200 miles radius of NYC.ticner58 said:

There are a various ways of searching the inventory, exactly how did you do your search?
I wish I could. My dealer is one of my biggest customers. I'm a ACDelco warehouse distributor and they do around $80000 a year with me. I buy only from those that buy from me when it comes to new vehicles, for both myself and the business. We tried to dealer trade for a Acadia back around 4/1 with no luck. If they won't dealer trade for an Acadia, I know that they'll just laugh at us if we called about a Enclave. I have found 2 within 150 miles that would work. The other problem is my dealer has no Enclave's to trade with. Sadly, GM may have dropped the ball for this customer. I'm commited until August 16th, basically 16 weeks. After that, I have told the dealer that we will just walk away and go with something else.coopermine said:

I even broke down and called Buick's 800 number today. They ran the order number for me and my official status code is "1100". The same as 4/23. The same answer my dealer gave me. They offered no hope or explanation. They also had no idea on how orders are ranked or assigned to be built. Maybe they put them in a tumbler, like bingo, and pull one out, Who really knows for sure? Heck, my dealer didn't even know the were being built in Lansing, MI., a mere 2 1/2 hours away.

Through GMBuyPower. Once it shows the 5 nearest dealers, I go in the URL and change a couple of values then the page gets full with tons of other dealers in the area. Sometime the inventory is inaccurate or out dated, but at least you get to see a little broader picture.comiccolec said:

Wow, is Buick marketing on the ball. I previously stated that I received a little brochure about the Enclave from them. Today I finally received, via FedEx no less, the Enclave brochure I requested back in March. I have only owned the vehicle since April 30th. Good job on timeliness there gang.
I just got another large Enclave brochure delivered by Fed Ex yesterday. I now have 5 of these in my house - two that I picked up at dealerships when I was buying the car and 3 delivered by Fed Ex within the last two weeks. Fed Ex also delivered two copies of the small Enclave brochure seperately. I hate to throw them away - but seriously.
