When I remotely start my car at night using the remote starter that I purchased with my Enclave, are my headlights supposed to automatically come on? My exterior headlight setting is set to automatic. One of the small lights on the front of the car comes on, but not the main headlights. This was standard in my last car.

Yes, I believe that is normal. I had an Acadia rental w/ remote start and it did the very same thing you describe.

Completely normal.

The only lights that come on are the parking lights, sidemarkers, and tail lamps when you start the car remotely. The headlamps, interior lamps, and reversing lamps will come on once you unlock the car.
