Serpentine engine belt

Wow :help: did anyone get a good look at the serpentine engine belt? You can barely see it, let alone get to it. It almost looks like you get to it from underneath, not the hood. According to manual, this belt can last up to 150,000 miles (barring cracks and dryrot which belts tend to do). My guess is this is a mechanic-only replacement if you need one. It was tough replacing the belt on the 3.4L in the Montana, but this one looks untouchable to the shadetree mechanic.

Since I'm very interested in knowing, I will probably order the service manual once Helm Inc. starts selling them. I usually do buy the service manuals for every car I buy. My guess on the design factor was that these belts are supposed to last a long time....
