Is it possible to order a Enclave that is totally one color without the gray bottom?

Unfortunately that is a photchop job, and NOT real images of the vehicle. Someone who does not know how to use the program properly (or does not care) selects the body, and then alters the color for the purpose of using one stock image for multiple color shots.

I guess you could demand the dealership pay to paint it the same color as pictured, but I bet they have some sort of disclaimer against such things. All they really need to say is "stock iamge used" somewhere and you have no chance.
Are you referring to that little picture of the Enclave? If so, then yeah that's just a really bad picture of the Cocoa-Cashmere. I don't even think they PhotoShopped it. It's just a poor quality pic.

On a side note, I like how they misspelled "something" in the:
Start of Somthing[/color] Beautiful
Clearly a photoshop job, but interesting to see nonetheless. In fact, our Gold Mist Enclave is awaiting rail transport, and I plan to investigate the cost of repainting the lower darker body color with either the Gold Mist or with the beige lower body color from the White Diamond paint scheme to lessen the contrast effect. Perhaps the car will come and I'll like how it looks, but I'm afraid that the dark color on the lower body will show too much of the dirt from our gravel road. We'll see.
The grey bottom seems to be designed for chip resistance? If so, it is a pretty good idea.

Thats what i thot!
Good initial question. I contacted GM about that very thing. All car manufacturers do this now when they launch a new vehicle (for the most part). It is new so we go for it. Then they make it all one color a few years later and we are suppose to say "Wow, not sure what it is but it looks better". Remember how hideous the Avalanche looked when it first came out? How about that first version of the Honda Pilot with that ugly grey crap all over...not just on the bottom. Now look at the Ford Escape sales...through the roof and all one colour. Nothing else really changed. Some could care less but I am thinking about getting the Cocoa version simply because it is less noticeable. Funny how it is the favorite color in the poll on this site. GM knows they can make a chip-resistant bottom in other colors but that would not be good for future marketing. Oh, beyond my babbling, they said no it could not be ordered as a monochrome finish. I know they meant yet...let's see.

That is the primary reason I ordered the Cocoa also. I thought it was the most monchrome of all the color schemes. Since Cocoa has been all over the place I would have preferred a different color, but in the end, it was my favorite.
The Carbon Flash we ordered does not look to have a tremendous contrast, but I sure would have preferred an exact or almost exact match. The white diamond also has a fairly low contrast. Opal is horrible.

I personally don't mind two-color schemes so long as they are subtle and/or tasteful, and the bottom isn't plastic looking but rather the same quality paint as the rest of the vehicle. Mercedes, for models having a two-color scheme, has used a flexible paint for the bottom that complements and blends with the upper sheet metal.

As an aside, anyone have any opinions on after-market paints being resistant to rock chips in case some of us wanted to go down that road to have the bottom painted to match?
i agree w/you osli. i think that was the turn off for me w/the acadia just way to much contrast color and its black on all the cars regardless of the color at least buick chose to use different colors that seem to go much better w/the cars. im getting the dark crimson and platinum ice will be my next choice.
