The Carbon Flash we ordered does not look to have a tremendous contrast, but I sure would have preferred an exact or almost exact match. The white diamond also has a fairly low contrast. Opal is horrible.
I personally don't mind two-color schemes so long as they are subtle and/or tasteful, and the bottom isn't plastic looking but rather the same quality paint as the rest of the vehicle. Mercedes, for models having a two-color scheme, has used a flexible paint for the bottom that complements and blends with the upper sheet metal.
As an aside, anyone have any opinions on after-market paints being resistant to rock chips in case some of us wanted to go down that road to have the bottom painted to match?
