There is a known problem I actually was able to find and get the dealer to fix under warranty because of information posted on this forum. I thought the fix was to replace the master cylinder so they would have to bleed the brakes to complete the job. The dealer keeps telling me I need to have fluid changed and I keep saying they should have changed the break fluid when they fixed this problem.

When I have replaced master cylinders before, I would have completely bleed the brakes to get the air out. Was this issue a different repair?

Is the dealer trying to get more money or do they have a real point?

I don't believe that they change the fluid with a master cylinder swap. They just replace the fluid in master cylinder and they should bleed the brakes including an ABS bleed. I suspect that they may have skipped the ABS bleed and they want you to pay for a fluid flush with the ABS bleed. How much are they asking for the work?
To do the ABS bleed you would need a Bi-directional scanner to enable the ABS. There are several Youtube vids on the process.
