Does anyone know if has been extended? How long? Any online documentation stating the extension so a dealer can't cheat anyone out of it?
You cannot use Conquest rebate with GM Family First or Supplier discounts. If you are truly getting GM Family First (or what's normally referred to as GMS/GMO pricing) you are already getting the car below invoice. Dealer is not going to give you a rebate that you are not eligible for. They are routinely audited by GM to make sure they aren't giving rebates out without authorization (they also audit to make sure they give rebates when they are supposed to). Trust me, I know GM like the back of my hand. I have had several family members and friends (both living and deceased) who have worked for GM.grd398s said:I don't know for certain. I ordered mine June 15th, and the dealer told me I would get the Conquest rebate even if it wasn't extended until the time I took delivery. I hope this is true...I got it in writing, so I've got that.
I've also got a "GM Family First" discount that they said I could use with the Conquest. However I've read other posts saying that some dealers won't allow this.
I'm just worried that they might sing me a different tune when it arrives. I won't have much bargaining power...I've waited so long, they know I'm not actually going to walk away from the deal. Plus they could be jerks on purpose because I guarantee they could sell my order the next day for more money.
Maybe I'm overly uneasey about this. I'm just hoping my dealer sticks to their word.
Sorry, that's a bit off topic and doesn't answer your question. Woops!
That's not true anymore, I don't believe. I priced out my Enclave on the gmfamilyfirst webpage. The list price is $42,110. According to them the supplier pricing is $39,485. The invoice price published by sites such as Edmunds in $38,883, without any regional advertising fees. The one caveat is that I am not sure if the supplier price adds in the dealer advertising fees that we pay here in Minneapolis. If they do indeed build that ~2% add fee into the price, then the supplier price really is slightly less than invoice.monstersinc1 said:If you are truly getting GM Family First (or what's normally referred to as GMS/GMO pricing) you are already getting the car below invoice.
Clarification: Does not have to be foreign, just non-GM. We got the conquest rebate on our Expedition. It goes to current owners of foreign vehicles
My salesman told me I could use both the GMS and the Conquest, but since my garage was full of Pontiac's, I didn't have the opportunity to try, but I did use the GMS and I'm now driving my new Enclave!ClaveCraver said:We were told you can not combine GMS + Conquest. Bummer. Some dealers around Indanapolis are not taking GMS right now. My Dad got his this weekend in KY. They had 9 NINE of them. He cancelled his MAY 8 ORDER. Done DEAL!!!!!!!!!! He got the White Diamond and I have the Carbon Black. We are finally done with this quest that started back in April. :blob:

I was told by my dealer that they would honor GMS plus the Conquest rebate. I'll have confirmation hopefully tomorrow as I go in to pick up the vehicle and deal.jacko said:My salesman told me I could use both the GMS and the Conquest, but since my garage was full of Pontiac's, I didn't have the opportunity to try, but I did use the GMS and I'm now driving my new Enclave!
Take the registration for your non GM vehicle with you. That's what you need for the Conquest rebate..Good Luck! :thumb:marzetta7 said:I was told by my dealer that they would honor GMS plus the Conquest rebate. I'll have confirmation hopefully tomorrow as I go in to pick up the vehicle and deal.
Our other vehicle is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche! :banghead:caddycruiser said:True. The date things can be worked around sometimes, but the rule of 1999 or newer is set by GM and that's how it is. If you had ANY other non-Gm vehicle in the household that was '99 or newer--doesn't have to be traded in--that counts, but otherwise, you're out.
