Just received a call from the dealer I ordered from and he confirmed start of production of my order - 5/15. He did mention, which I felt would be good to pass along to you all, that his sales rep told him that there is a delay with orders due to issue with telescopic steering wheel that comes in the luxury package. Luckily I did not order this package. I did not ask questions, but thought to pass it along in case those who did order the Luxury package wanted to talk to their dealers. Can't confirm anything, just passing along what the dealer told me.....

No indication of a production delay yet for this on Donlen - http://www.donlen.com/production_cars_gm.asp Though the last update was 5/2. I hope it doesn't cause too much of a problem as I ordered this package.

I've asked my dealer if he has this info. I ordered PCK. I didn't order White diamond which is adding 4 weeks to all orders. I want to know if the production period is the same for those who only ordered PCK.

The White Diamond was one of the last colors available for the Acadia and the Outlook. I wonder what the problem is.

Maybe Buick decided to adjust the steering wheel so it can go higher and not block the speedometer for taller drivers. It sure would be nice to know.

It is on my XC90 also, but it is a manual system.

I picked up a CXL AWD on Friday the 8th. It has the power tilt/telescoping feature. I agree that it cannot go to a high enough position to allow good view of the speedo. Funny how GM varies this stuff; I just traded an Acadia; the steering wheel was manual tilt; the Enclave power tilt and telescoping and my 07 SRX is manual tilt/telescoping (I think it telescopes) but it also has power adjustable pedals so you can get a position that works for just about anyone. Seems like the Enclave and Acadia should be same as the SRX....Just my opinion.
