Hello fellow Texans,

Just curious, what price are you guys paying for the Enclave? I'm slated to pay an out of the door price of 38,056 or 37,056 (if the Conquest rebate or some other equivalent can be applied) for the following Enclave...

Destination Charge: $735.00
Advertising/Adjustments: $0.00
Total Options: $2,520.00
Total: $37,510.00 (35,420.61 w/ supplier discount)
Tax: $2,213.79 (@ .0625)
Title, Licence: $421.60

Grand Total: $38,056

The dealer told me I could get any rebates that were available at delivery of the vehicle. However, they promised me that delivery would be 3 to 4 weeks from July 1st, which would still allow me to qualify for the Conquest rebate. However, Buick has pretty much doubled that delivery time and now I believe the Counquest rebate is gone. You think I can still talk them down $1,000 somehow? What's up with the destination charge? Any insight would be awesome.

Anyhow, on a good note, it appears the Conquest rebate appears to be extended to September now. Now, if I can get my care here, that would be great.

Are you guys really getting supplier discount AND conquest? Every dealer we've talked to said we can't apply both?

Yes. I was told that I can get any type of available rebate at the time of delivery. So, in essence, if I can get my car here before September, I should be getting the Conquest rebate on top of my supplier pricing.

Pure speculation here.....

I think someone has posted that they have seen the GM documentation that states that supplier pricing can NOT be combined with the Conquest rebate. Supplier pricing is not that stellar anymore, slightly less than invoice I believe. My guess is that dealers that are honoring Conquest and supplier are simply selling the vehicle at the supplier price point and not actually getting the credit from GM.

But hey, maybe I'm totally wrong.

You are totally correct zman. I payed about 300 over invoice plus the conquest rebate, but they could not do both the supplier pricing and the conquest rebate together. So, I made them match it anyways, since they made the mistake of telling me incorrect information from the beginning.

Just ordered today from West Point Buick, Houston....CXL, FWD, White Diamond, titanium leather interior, driver's conf. pkg, discounted chrome pkg. w/sunroof, ent. pkg. #3. Price quoted before taxes - 37,903.13. But like many, I'm sitting at event code 1100. Good news is that I really don't need the car till December.

I went to several dealerships today to order based on the internet quote the dealership had previously provided. One dealership quoted me $37,515.98. When I got there, he wouldn't honor that price, instead he was quoting me MSRP of $40,475. He then tried to add a $500.00 conquest rebate. I quickly told him that the rebate by GM was $1,000. He then changed it and quoted the final price at $39,475. Then I had several dealerships that would not even give an eternet quote even though they adverstise this option. All in all, I'm please with the price and can't wait to get my 'Clave.

Marzetta7, thanks for all the help and info, unfortunately that particular dealership couldn't come close to the price I ordered.

Yeah, sorry to hear that. I found it interesting that with the dealership I went to, the salesman I worked with stated that he had to fight his superiors to honor the price they quoted me in the beginning because they--his superiors--were wondering why I was getting a vehicle for $700 under invoice (that's with the Conquest Rebate being applied) when they could be making $3,000 to $4,000 off of me.

MY DEALER INFORMED ME I COULD USE THE CONQUEST MONEY WITH SUPPLIER PRICING, I COULD NOT USE ANY MONEY FROM MY GM CREDIT CARD

I was told the same thing, however, when it came down to purchase the vehicle, they actually couldn't. However, I made them match the amount for supplier pricing, and then give me the Conquest Rebate. I suggest you do the same if it comes down to this. Let us know.
