I know my CXL AWD has Michelin 255/60R19's but I am not sure of the model. I will check it out and update this message.

Update: Mine are Michelin Latitute Tour.
All the CX models I have looked at have Goodyear "Fortera" HL Edition tires on them, P255/65/R18. They feature Goodyear's "Triple Tread Technology".
The Goodyear Fortera HL is currently ranked 13 at TireRack after some 402 surveys about that tires.

I wish they had used Goodyear Fortera TripleTred (not the HL edition) since that is at the top of the list.

Here is the info on Michelin Latititue Tour HP. The snow handling doesn't look that good. But only 220K+ miles have been reported, I hope it will get better.

It appears like the tire sounds good.

Initially used as Original Equipment on Mercedes-Benz M-Class and R-Class models, as well as the European Volvo XC90, the Latitude Tour HP was designed to combine desirable ride and handling qualities with all-season traction, even in light snow.

Most people who commented on the tire and liked it were from Florida or California with no snow experience. The one person who commented about snow was from Washigton DC and they had snow and sounds like they did not perform well. Not sure what size he commented on. So snow performance won't be tested for some time.
Oooh thats sorta bad for us in the midwest, we can get ALOT of snow overnight!! :help:  :sosad: :eek:hno: :angryfire:
Why do you think they put on the Michelin on the 19 in? To keep up with MB or some other reason?

Do live where the snow and ice flow? Sounds like with little information the tires maybe a little weak in the snow.

NO SNOW WHERE I LIVE :dancing: LOTS OF SAND, BEACHES AND SUNSHINE....ALTHOUGH, WE DO HAVE SNOW IN OUR MOUNTAINS BUT YOU GO THERE ONLY IF YA WANNA AND I DONT WANNA....NOT INTERESTED IN SNOW HEHEHEHEHE. :dancing: IM IN SO. CALI
So I take that as a no in having any knowledge of snow conditions... :-X
Ours will be wearing real snow tires in the winter - "all season" tires won't make it up my rural driveway in the winter. If you want winter traction, get winter tires.

FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM I WOULD SAY YES....
I want both. I do not have a great need for winter tires but I want traction. I do not want a false sense of security either. Hopefully the 19's will do both if not why have them.

THOSE 20' MICH'S WILL DO EXACTLY THAT.
Would anyone happen to know if a vehicle can be calibrated to accomodate a tire and wheel size other than the size that came on it ?? I'm not sure, but if I can't order 20", I might go with aftermarket. :blob:
Rocketman, I have aftermarket wheels and tires on my Sierra Denali that I had put on the truck when I bought it. The guy in the service dept. told me they plugged my tire size into the vehicle computer so that the speedometer, etc. would be accurate. It seems the Enclave has all the same vehicle computer features.

Raftdoc, I was always told that there weren't any approved optional wheels for the Sierra Denali because of the Quadrasteer. I really don't care now, because in a few days or weeks, it will be history. I appreciate the info on the calibration. :banghead:
