A little advice on extended warranties. There are a lot of scammers out there selling extended warranties so be careful and check them out thoroughly before signing or buying anything. When comparing legitimate policies, pay attention to what's NOT COVERED. It's almost impossible to list everything that IS covered, so it's important to know what isn't covered. Look at deductible amounts and maximum payout per claim. Also rental car coverage is important with extended repairs such as engine and or transmission repairs. I would get quotes from your local GM dealers. Any GM dealer can perform the repairs and if you buy the policy from them, you may be able to avoid issues with repair costs and they may provide alternate transportation at no additional cost. Lastly some states regulate the cost of these policies as they fall under insurance regulation so you may get many quotes with the same price. Good luck.
