What is a supplier price? Who can get it? Is it available in Canada?

The company I work for uses GM vehicles as fleet vehicles so GM offers employees of my company a program to purchase vehicles at a set rate. The Enclave I'm looking at will be discounted about $3200 off MSRP. We also get these prices on Fords, called the X plan. On most vehicles you could probably negotiate a better discount but on the newer models it isn't going to happen. As a matter of fact I'm going to try and get my dealer to sell me an Enclave for the same discount and not use the supplier so I can get the conquest rebate also.

Yes it is available in Canada if you work for someone who does business with GM. Not sure how much biz with GM and all the details and if the Company has to apply. The discount in Canada I believe is 4% over invoice with no adders which is about 7% of list.
You can also get a supplier price number from a GM Employee, Retiree or executive with the GM Supplier Discount for Friends program. (refer to https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/GMVPP/pdf/ff_program_update.pdf) An employee or retiree is allowed to give 1 per month. They will need the last 4 digits of your SSN. Executives can give up to 10 per month. The program is slated to expire at the end of 2007, but they might extend it. I used this to order and buy my Enclave. You can build a vehicle and get an approx. supplier price here - http://www.gmbuypower.com/index.jsp?&partnerId=510023&userType=GMSUPPLR I say approx. because GM is known to adjust invoice prices slightly. This affects the supplier price. Ultimately, the supplier price is whatever GM says on the invoice that comes with the car.
