Getting 17.4 city and some hywy driving . Last night got 26.5 all hywy driving for 3 mile drive--- ATL, GA. CXL, fwd. cocoa metallic with 458 miles on odometer
What is your MPG?
So far have not seen much real world gas mileage figures. What is your MPG?

I really have been trying to drive w/ a light foot. Getting 16.8-17.1 mostly city driving. I had just one drive on the freeway 2 days ago. Approx. 450 miles total.
I'm interested in hearing what everyone else is getting. I'm also hoping that it will pick up a bit as the car gets driven more.

Ensure tire psi is per spec.----- 35psi COLD ---- AND MPG WILL STAY ABOVE NEW ADVERTISED MPG WHICH IS VERY GOOD FOR THESE CROSSOVERS OR ANY SUV!

that is what most people forget when it comes to mpg is keeping those tires w/in the correct psi.
I have AWD. If I can keep it around 17 for city driving, I'll be happy. Pretty comparable to the MDX I traded in, and this is much bigger. I've become one of those pokey drivers that take forever to get up to speed after a red light. 
the vehicle will take some getting used too especially for me. so i will probably be Ms Daisy driving for awhile myself.
Has anyone heard about putting nitrogen in their tires? My next door neighbor Owns 3 tire stores and he swears by Nitrogen.
It is an Inert Gas (noncombustable) that NASCAR and other Racers have used for years. Technology has just caught up to a reasonable
way for local Tire Stores to use it.
Benefits:
1. Tire holds pressure for up to 10 Mos or more ( unless you have a flat) and is not affected by heat, cold or altitude changes.
2. Reduces heat build up at highway speeds.
3. Is noncorrosive to Aluminum Rims
My Dealer Charges $19.99 + Tax for up to 18" rims and $22.95 + Tax for up t0 20" Rims. That is "EACH" Tire
I will have him put it in my tires when I finally receive my Enclave. we are planning on a long trip this summer and will see how it works out

The local Saturn dealer is now putting nitrogen in their vehicles tires before delivery for what I believe was a $20 charge. I don't think it was per tire, but I'm not possitive. It's not something being published or advertised in our area yet. That being said, if you had low pressure on one of your tires you might have problems with getting it repressurized due to the fact that most dealers or tire shops are not using nitrogen yet. If you have your tire repaired out of town chances are you'd have to have it filled with air and then when you got back in town you'd have to take it to your dealer or local tire store that carries the nitrogen and have it recharged.

If you follow racing at all you will hear the commentators talk about the cars bottoming out or having tire rub when new tires are put on the cars due to the tires having low pressure. after a few laps on the track under racing conditions, the tires build up some heat and the pressures go up. Tire pressure changes are not near as noticeable with nitrogen as they are when using regular air.

19.7 avg mpg. 40 mph avg. speed. loaded AWD with less than 1000 miles. i'm pretty happy at this point and believe that mpg will increase as miles increase. no extended highway as of yet, so can't report a hwy mpg. i also believe that with the weight of this vehicle we will see a fairly wide variance in mpg reports as driving style in a heavier vehicle has a dramatic effect on mpg. traded in a caddy escalade ext that we averaged 15.7 for the 30k of use, so it looks like at least a 4 mpg gain at this point.
2,000 miles on my Enclave and I average between 30 and 35 mph. I am averaging 19 mpg.
Wow....the last two posts getting 19+. I'm still averaging around 17.5 w/ approx. avr. mph of 22-23 (stop and go traffic is driving me crazy). About 80% of my driving so far (about 600 miles total) is city driving. Once school ends and we start driving to our place in northern MI, I'm expecting it to improve.
you more than likely will krm cause city driving just puts a real hurting on a car and the gas tank hehehehehe.
Please note whether you are using "all" gasoline or live in an area with 10% ethanol in the gasoline (this is the new oxygen source instead of MTBE in locations with EPA mandated standards to reduce air pollution - most major cities and surrounding locations). The ethanol in the fuel reduces gas milage.

Nitrogen might make a real difference in the extreme worlds of aircraft landing gear or automotive racing, but I have yet to see a study that shows that its use in everyday driving does anything other than making your wallet lighter.
i agree shappy.... yet another ploy to break the american consumer. :sosad:
