What is your MPG?

Last weekend we took our first trip in the Enclave; about 350 miles each way to visit one of our Daughters and her family. I changed the oil (had about 1,300 miles on the Enclave) and put in Mobil 1 5W30 and a Mobil 1 filter the day before we left. I reset the "average economy" when we got on the interstate and got 24.1 on the trip up and 23.9 on the trip back. I expect the mileage will improve slightly when we get a few more miles on it.
I was very pleased with the operation of the transmission through the rolling hills of central and north Florida.
One other observation;this is the quietest vehicle I have ever been in. It's amazing how much more enjoyable a trip is when the road noise is reduced to the level it is in the Enclave.

Nope your not missing anything, I just wanted to get synthetic oil in the Enclave.
I'm a firm believer in synthetic motor oils and high quality filters, to me it's cheap insurance and also helps out slightly with MPG. I'll change the oil and filter every 5000 miles with Mobil 1 5W30 and a Mobil 1 or K&N filter. Although this is somewhat overkill (changing synthetic every 5000 miles) it's just the way the way I do it.
