Costco uses Nitrogen in tires. It is free if you bought you tires from there. According to the pamphlet they gave, it is drier compare to air, so in hot weather inside of the tires doesn't get worn out as much or as easily.Top Dog said:Has anyone heard about putting nitrogen in their tires? AWD here as well. Started with high 14's to low 15's when it was new. Now, with about 4500 miles on it I routinely get in the low to mid 16's (in town). No change in driving, other than it is now much colder than initially. If anything that should decrease milage.
