No body knows the answer? ???
canuck...we started shipping on April 18. I have no knowledge of any other date. As far as I'm concerned, they should be selling as soon as they hit showrooms. I did see a thread that mentioned some 'official release in Ohio'...I've asked the Buick team to clarify...that's first I've heard of ANY delay. I'll let you know what I find!
I live in Canada and I have seen the Enclave and have been offered test drives but no brochures as of last week and no info on the GM Canada web page. I was wondering if there is some date that all information will start flowing.....

There is not the normal information on the GM site in the US only the build page that has been there for at least a month.

I find that GM Canada's website is always woefully behind in updates. Also, in the past it always seems that GM Canada
lags behind in the release dates compared to the US, which shouldn't be surprising given the relative sizes of the two
markets.
The funny thing I ahve seen the Enclave and have been contacted about a test drive. So no lag in the actually available of the car just the info.

i think buick knows we are having a fit lol....they are going to release everything within the next few weeks i would think...we are like children at christmas is all and like the children we have been searching everywhere for the toys and getting frustrated cause we cant find em. :binky:
I had previously posed this question at another site of General Motors enthusiasts.

The official launch date of the Enclave is June 14, and dealerships have the option of hosting "Premiere Parties" much as they did for the Lucerne introduction in late 2005.

I would not expect to see any advertising for the Enclave prior to this date. While Buick has obviously given dealers the go-ahead to sell cars, I'm confident that the June 14 date was set to allow most dealers to have one or more Enclaves in inventory for the introduction.

I have not yet seen any Enclaves in my part of the country (near Seattle), so it's obviously taking some time for the cars to reach dealerships on the West Coast.
they are now arriving here in the Atlanta area and Southeast. I saw 3 within the last week at a dealer. They were GM Factory cars being driven by GM reps. My dealer received their first one to sell yesterday. Still waiting for a Cocoa metallic to arrive. They are just beautiful vehicles. You can tell the dealers are excited about the Enclave. Bodes well for the future for Buick.
First one showed up in Charlotte, NC in the last couple of days. Maybe my order is not far behind...???
Centurion is correct. The official date appears to be June 14th. Here is a letter we received from Buick regarding our Enclave Premiere Event, which we are indeed planning for that evening.

OFFICIAL ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION -

Dear Buick Dealer:

Congratulations! You have officially enrolled in the Enclave "Start of Something Beautiful" Premiere Event. What makes this upcoming event even more anticipated is the continued press and critical acclaim surrounding the all-new Enclave. Come June 14th your showroom will bring this beautiful event to life.

Now is the perfect time to plan and prepare for your Premiere Event. Here's what's to come:

Week of May 14th:
The Enclave "Start of Something Beautiful" Premiere Event Playbook arrives. This will be accompanied by the Communication Template CD so you can print and send invitations to your key customers. You can also go a step further and visit DealerWorld or One Source to pull a manifest list and send invitations to these consumers as well. This will be arriving in your DWD Box.

Week of June 4th:
The Premiere Event kit arrives. The kit includes additional program elements to turn your showroom into a premium event showroom. Kit materials include elegant silk showroom banners, display/demo boxes with stunning visuals, rich chocolate thank-you gifts and additional party elements such as balloons and napkins.

June 5th:
Your local consumer manifest is posted to DealerWorld. This list includes all those in your area who registered to be a part of the Enclave "Start of Something Beautiful" Premiere Event on buick.com.

Thanks again for participating in what's ramping up to be one of the biggest launches in Buick history.
And good selling!

GaryS1953, thank you for the confirmation.

Where is your dealership located?

If I understand correctly, it appears that we can register at buick.com in order to attend one of the premiere parties. (The website is not yet set up to register, so I may just telephone my local dealers in a few weeks to add myself to their party lists.)
Ya how do you enter at buick.com???
The site does not appear to be set up yet for registering for the premiere events.
Centuriion, We're in the plant city, Laqnsing MI. The site to register at is not up yet, but keep watching Buick.com. They haven't told us when it will be up, but I'll try to post it the moment I hear.

My dealer (Sewell in Dallas, Texas) called last week to say they had received two Enclaves. At this point they are holding them for people to look at and test drive. I stopped by last week (sans camera, sorry!) and was very impressed. I thought the exterior was so much more elegant in person than in pictures. I'm dragging my whole family over there today to see the cars and am hoping we will place an order for one for me for Mother's Day. ;)

Oop! That's Lansing MI.
You are now able to put your zip code in the "Start of Something Beautiful" section on the Buick Enclave web page. It pulls up another screen with a list of local dealers that are hosting the event. Doesn't appear that all dealers will be doing this.
So if you signed up on that, will the dealer send you something or call you? Do you have to have the printout thing? I threw it away cause it didnt really say anything important!
