Richard,
Hi Richard I live in the DC area. Which dealership told you this info? I promise I won't take yours :thumb:
Were going to most likely special order one in late june or early July. My wife in I want to double check some items i.e. carseats and access to 3rd row for adults.

Budi, just make some phone calls to the local dealers...Koons, Jim Harris, Leesburg, & Alexandria dealers all say they are getting cars in very very soon. I have asked them each to call me when they get one in so I can go see it. Most of them have reported that the first 1-2 of them they are getting in are already sold, but that I can come take a look anyway. We'll see if anyone actually calls me to tell me when they come in. :)

Interestingly enough they all report expecting 6-8 of them within the next 6-8 weeks, and nearly all say they will be fully loaded CXL's. Sounds like they are going to get them 1-2 at a time. If I could decide on a color I'd buy one of them but I have to see them first...I can't pick a color based on the little color swatches in the brochure.

Anyone else think the brochure is aweful? I wish they had pictures of the Enclave in different colors...the brochure only has Cocoa and Platinum...any many many wasted pages....too bad.

I saw an Enclave on a dealership floor in Charlotte, NC today. They told me it was a "demo pre-production" unit that was on tour to various dealerships. They will have it for 2 to 3 days. It was the Cocoa Metallic loaded with just about everything. Looked VERY nice!

I ordered a Cocoa Enclave CXL 3 weeks ago. I am told that my order does not have a build date yet but is moving through the system. They are hoping my order will be in mid-May. Without a build date though I am not sure of that is even possible.

Admin,

Thanks for the codes. Mine is at 3300. But I just found out from our dealership that they got their first customer odered Enclave today. It was 3300 on 4/12 and showed up today. Mine has been 3300 since 4/14 so it has either been held up due to one of the options or its just like the one the dealer received today, but maybe just a few days behind. So unfortunately the codes are only somewhat accurate.

The good news are they are showing up earlier than most expected.

[/color I recently had the opportunity to see about 7 or 8 different Enclaves. One was a special Cocoa on one side and White on the other side. The colors met right in the center. I was able to sit inside and check it over real good. I Immediately fell in love with the Enclave. If the Dealer had one in stock Fully Loaded, I would have traded that same day. I'm trading a 03 GMC Sierra Denali QuadraSteer Truck/W 13,300 mi which I truly love but I don't need both. As soon as I saw the Enclave, I knew that was it. I drove the Acadia(sweet) but according to what I've read, The Enclave is much sweeter. Good luck to all, and I hope to have one as soon as a fully loaded White Diamond arrives. Also the Cocoa was attractive under lights, but when it's outside, to me, it was just another brown car. lol. :blob:

Rocketman - we must have the same taste in vehicles. Our Enclave will be my wife's car; I drive a 2004 Sierra Denali with Quadrasteer. As I assume you're aware, there has arisen a fairly active niche market for used Quadrasteer pickups now that that option is no longer available. Those of us who have them have trouble with the idea of going back to a pickup without it. I plan to drive mine for as long as I can. A Quadrasteer truck with low mileage like yours should bring a good price in a competitive market such as eBay - don't let anybody talk you out of it cheap.

Hi Rafdoc, Thanks for the reply. I agree, The Quadrasteer is the only way to go. I hate to get rid of it. The cover over the bed has never been open, I've never driven over 75 MPH, The oil has been changed approx 4 times, no dings, dents, nor scratches. I really hadn't thought about Ebay. I also hadn't thought about it becoming a rarity. I probably should think this over a little more. I only use it to ride in, not for hauling or towing, but I liked the Acadia. I went on the Net to check on the Acadia......Lo and behold, I saw the Enclave, The rest is History. Thanks for opening my eyes about the Quadrasteer. What do you think would be a good and fair asking price ??? :blob:

Everyone else, sorry about the threadjacking. Rocketman - I don't actually know what a truck like yours would go for, but it seems to me you could do better than what a dealer would give you in trade-in for it. That's the beauty of a place like eBay - you don't have to know what it's worth - if enough potential buyers see it, you'll find out. I've heard stories about people buying a second, used, Quadrasteer truck and parking it until they're done with the one they already have. Just out of curiosity, in case I hear of someone looking, where are you located and what color is it?

Also keep in mind there's a For Sale section on here. Not much traffic yet, but it's free and certainly can't hurt. You might also post it on http://www.acadiaforum.net - that site got a big head start and has MUCH more traffic (not to mention it's full of GMC fans)

Just received my Enclave yesterday.

Saw two others in two different dealships near us. In addition, the dealship I ordered mine through had one more -- but it was order for someone.

Keep watching. They are rolling off the lines.

OK I started this thread on April 16. I live in Canada and we do not have brochures.

I asked the dealer in town and he indicated end of June to see one then it was beginning of June.(<2 weeks ago)

Guess what I saw today as I drove by on my way to an appointment in town.

A Red one.... with Ebony CXL which in Canada comes with the Luxury and Driver confidence package included no choice.

I think I'm a Cashmere type of person did not like the Ebony.

I live only about 2 hr drive from the plant.

Did not drive it just sat in it for 5-10 minutes. I have sat/drove a Titanium interior Acadia and found it more open than the Enclave.
