Raftdoc, I have almost decided to just trade my Quadrasteer in. This may have been a scare tactic, but the Dealer said if I sell outright, I would have to pay taxes on the full amount. If I trade, I would only have to pay taxes on the difference of the trade-in and the amount I paid for the Enclave. I also read comments from Gmoney_2010 and Admin. I appreciate you guys interest. I'm from the Metro ATL area. As soon as a fully loaded White Diamond Enclave to my liking arrives....Bingo! As much as I hate to depart with the Denali, it will belong to someone else.
A GMC Dealer said the cost was the main reason for discontinuing the Quadrasteer. Even after they dropped the price a couple of Grand, They were still too expensive.
This forum is fun and I appreciate all of youse and good luck with your Enclave. It is one fine looking Automobile.

Called a dealership in Kokomo, IN yesterday (Fri - 27th) and they had 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drove over an hour there after work and looked at both of them. One was Cocoa Metallic with black leather, AWD, navigation and chrome 19" wheels, no sunroof that was sold and the other was red jewel tintcoat with tinanium leather, 19" machined finish wheels (dull finish), sunroof, AWD. All my wife could say was WOWWWWWWW! G-Money - Pictures do not do these vehicles justice! I have read that statement time and time again and now I believe it. :( Sorry you have not seen one. Keep calling around! I called most large dealerships around central Indiana and this is the only dealership that had them. They had only been there since wednesday and they thought the red jewel would not last through the weekend and the cocoa had sold on the 27th. Bad part about the whole expereince, I didn't have a camera to get pictures! :banghead: Ride was nice and quiet, no body roll for a large vehicle on corners, dash layout and presentation is awesome, ride was very smooth on country roads, lots of room for me @ 6'1. :thumb:, sleeker design compared to Saturn/GMC, more options standard than others, better warranty. Did not climb into the rear seat because weather was sloppy and floor mats were not in the vehicle. Titanium carpet will show a lot of dirt. Dash with the ebony leather was all 1 color black with the wood and metalic accent and the gray was 4, wood, metallic, light gray and dark gray. Ebony was a lot nicer in my opinion. Dealership said they have 19 more on order that should be arriving in the next 2 months. All my wife was saying was wow and I want one. We have driven the Acadia, Outlook and now the Enclave and the Enclave wins hands down! Will be ordereing what we want in the near future! Please refrain from throwing things since I have no pictures! :-[

I posted pictures of an Enclave that I found on a dealers lot in Marion, In. The pictures are in the gallery section of this forum. It was all I needed to see. Liked the styling so much better than the Acadia that I was thinking about buying that I order one this morning and can't wait for it to show up.

Dealer in Ft. Wayne Ind. now has 5 in stock. 3 Red Jewel Tintcoat CX's, 1 Gold Mist Met, CX & 1 Red Jewel Tintcoat CXL. I will be posting pictures in the "Gallery" tomorrow. By the way, they look far better in person than the pictures will ever show. It looks like mine is moving up the ladder to being built, it went to status 2000 today. I sure am glad I waited and didn't pull the trigger on an Acadia or Outlook

I happened to stop in at my Dealer this morning and they had a GM delivery(Enclave) in their shop. It 's to be delivered to a GM Executive. It was being prepped and they wouldn't let me see it. I went back late this evening and they said it was still being prepped and I could probably see it tomorrow morning if it hadn't been picked up. Now, I'm wondering if they would spend that much time prepping one for me. Anyway, I'll be there tomorrow morning. I seriously doubt I will be able to drive it. I sure would like to. :angryfire:

I saw an Enclave in St Louis, MO yesterday. I got to sit in it, but not drive it, because it was already sold (customer order). The exterior was more curvy than I realized from the pictures. Very sharp. It was a white diamond exterior (great), titanium interior (ok).

I ordered my Enclave on 4/3. I called today to check the status was told by the dealer today (in Charlotte, NC) that they have no idea when my vehicle will show up. The sales mgr also told me that Buick is not wanting them to deliver any Enclaves until after their "big intro event" in June. Consequently, he said it would probably be mid June before I receive the car. :banghead:

He would not tell me the order status code today when I called. However, on 4/27 it was status code '3000' and I was told at that time it had been that status for 9 days. ???

I informed the sales mgr (thank to y'all) that Indiana and Ohio dealers had them on their lot and were selling them. He seemed surprised and said "they must have had their event already".

Oh well, guess I'll just keep waiting...

I was finally able to drive the GM Executive's Enclave, but only in the parking lot. They are expecting a Cocoa colored Enclave next week, and they said I will be able to drive it on the street.
I'm even more impressed now. The car is quieter than I expected, The Zenons are what I expected except it didn't have the articulating feature, it was a beautiful dark blue which was prettier than I expected and the interior was Titanic. Beautiful and very impressive, I think because it's a Buick, and there's nothing in the American Lineup that can touch it unless it's the Caddy, and I'm not too sure about it.
After I drive the one coming in I will probably put one on order unless they expect one in like what I want. :blob:

I think everyone is shocked at how nice the deep blue metallic is the first time they see it in person. It is, by far, the color that pics do the least justice to, I think. (then again, I haven't seen a blue gold in person yet). Are the enclaves showing up on gmbuypower.com inventory searches yet?

edit: yikes, I butchered that post... (hoe mine = how nice)

CHECK ON THE ACADIA FORUM AND THEY HAVE LOTS OF VERY NICE SHOTS OF THE ACADIA IN THE BLUE GOLD W/BOTH EBONY AND TITANIUM INTERIOR. GO CHECK IT OUT.

No 'Search Dealer Inventory' or 'Request a Quote' yet as of today.
