I think the Traverse looks kinda cheap. No chrome roof rails or chrome exhaust pipes and single exhaust on most except LTZ. The front end looks like a giant Malibu. You can't say that about the GMC.
As I've said before, IMO, the Enclave looks better from further away and the Acadia looks better close up.
Was in the dealership earlier in the week, and was sitting in the waiting area which is in the showroom. There was an Acadia sitting right there a few feet from me. All I could think was, it's getting a little dated....sorry to say that, but the Enclave's design is standing the test of time better, the Acadia is a bit boring from the back end, wish they had been doing mid cycle enhancements (MCE's) all along to keep it a little fresher. Not to say it isn't nice, but it's been around since 2007 (2006, actually when you could buy it), so that's a lot of time with the SAME tail lights, etc. (didn't help that the one in the showroom had the tow package with NO cover over the hitch, and the hitch was dirty, like it had been driven in the rain and dusty, perhaps they should detail that if it's sitting in the showroom.)

Speaking of MCE's, why not have the Traverse get something to the back end? Put the license plate where it is on the Enclave, and/or put a chrome bar across it, and extend that under the tail lights. For the Enclave it's harder to think of what to change, but tail lights is something they could start with. Then easy things like black on the "C" pillar, instead of body color, and maybe get rid of the two tone, or come out with different schemes.

What is a Lambda?
 Really? It's the platform that the Enclave, Acadia, Traverse, and the discontinued Outlook is built on. Welcome to 2007. :poke:

The lambda platform was original conceived as a replacement design for GM's minivan line. But, when GM decided to exit the minivan business, the new platform was employed in a new line of midsize CUVs beginning in 2006 now known as the Acadia, Enclave, Traverse, and the defunct Outlook.
Nice answer....you are too nice, and I guess my answer was boarder line...but I just had a hard time taking it seriously....thought it might have been a joke. Everyone in the world must know what the Lambda platform is by now, right?
