ARE MY EYES DECEIVING ME OR DOES THE WHITE DIAMOND START LOOKING MORE WHITE GOLD, MEANING IT TURNS A PERMANENT YELLOWISH COLOR, AFTER SEVERAL YEARS? I HAVE NOTICED SOME CARS THAT MAYBE LOOK LIKE THEY USED TO BE WHITE DIAMOND AND WERE NOT TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY AND ARE NOW LOOKING KINDA FUNKY.

No,White Diamond still looks White Diamond 10 yrs later. What you probably saw was another color that was close to White Diamond. Lincoln had a Light Metallic color that had Gold in it, and several other Companies had colors very similar to White Diamond. I personally have had my White Diamond for a long time, and it's just as pretty and shines just like it did new.

I have Aspen White on my Pathfinder which has more silver glare then Pearl white. If I do not wash it for a while it looks pail, kind of yellow white you described. When is washed and sparkling it becomes silvery white again.

The white diamond color from GM certainly has an off-white (dare I say yellowish) base coat color. In fact, the base coat is just marginally lighter than the Opal White color. Very creamy, certainly not a pure or bright white. The metallic flakes "hide" that a bit, but when dirty what comes through strongest is the off-white color.

Personally, I'd like it much more if the base coat was actually white. In fact, the Gold Flash color you find on the Lucerne is whiter and more appealing IMO.
