LMAO traitors...like anyone owes Gm anything.....get a grip KID...get a grip:)
I do have a grip, on the door knob, and its still wide open. And the traitors part was toward America not just GM. Ya it was a little overboard but I dont understand buying non American vehicles.

Finally got a minute and had to chime in. This was great news for Buick and GM. I think that Buick has the best owners in the industry. We only have 3 vehicles now, but they are all great cars in their classes. Our dealership carries 15 makes of cars (Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Pontiac, Porsche, Saab, Saturn and VW). It all started with a Buick store in 1965 and grew from taking care of our owners. Every make has its warts-we can sell all 15 brands, and an awful lot of us drive Buicks. I defy you to find any vehicle in a class that Buick competes in that is more comfortable on a cross-country trip, quieter and less expensive to maintain over its life. They've been at it as long as anyone and, like all the "Big 3", kind of lost their way for a while. But the cars they're putting out now, overall are the best they've ever been and deserve consideration. Just wait until you see the new 2010 LaCrosse -I've seen it in person and it's stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. If they continue turning out products like these, that people really WANT to buy, they'll be fine. Okay, off the soapbox.....sorry!

One more thing-unfortunately, some dealers (and GM) have ocassionally dropped the ball in terms of taking care of their owners. In Papopo's case, he gave them every chance to do the right thing and now he's given up. Every manufacturer makes a clunker once in awhile-it's how the dealer handles issues that makes you an advocate or critic. I hope he has a better experience with his new ride.

In the meantime, if you love your car, tell everyone you know about it. If you hate it, tell your dealer first and give them a chance to make it right. THEN tell all your friends what happens!

Gotta go-GO BUCKY!

Maybe when you are no longer a tax deduction and are earning your keep you will understand more.....thx tralfaz for knowing where my mindset is in regards to GM. After talking to you several times over the phone you tend to gain a better understanding of the issue than making assinine snap judgements like some have chosen to do.

I agree with Gmoney_2010...I'll save you the time looking for an appropriate forum......http://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/
You had a bad experience & I think most on this forum are sick of hearing about it...
And I'm not a teenager.....

Bye!! Good luck.. :clap2:
lol....you remind me of my dealer....unfortunately for you, this is free, I can come and go as I see fit.:)

First of all, STOP using my age! It doesn't matter if I'm 16 or 96 I'm tired of you complaining about GM! We all know you had a horrible experience GM. And you knew when you posted "GM kinda sucks" that you were going to start something like this. And I'm starting to think that the only reason your staying around IS to start stuff cause you obviously don't have anything left to talk about the enclave.

:deadhorse:

On a different note, I have just came back from several hundread miles round trip with the E and I have to say I am on the top of the cloud and absolutely delighted. Nothing hurts :D, it so the most comfortable car I have ever sat in or drove. Last week I had fuel injectors and something else there cleaned and the car is as quiet as new now (no more rattling etc.), mileage was great and I can actualy have some fun driving it providing that I stop caring about the mileage, AND my kids are no longer kissing windows when I am turning like they did with minivan ;D (since I drive all cars like a sport car I cannot have - some are doing better than others-the cars). About the value,(I am gonna dare to compare) my friend bought C class year old for about 23k, I got mine year old for 21k, mine is so much better looking inside than her benz-normal sedan. outside enclave has personality, benz looks generic to me, look has no personality (to me). But everybody goes uhhh and ahh about mercedes. yes they are two different cars, but I prefer enclave (same mpg). As far as reliability, all cars have bugs, some more some less. I am happy they come with warranty and quite long one. Then, of course, I do not have sun roof >:D
In my opinion, the american cars have much more equipment options for the money than european ones and they definitely grew on me.

For all of the trolls out there...

GM kinda kicks @$$ now.

So do you mean in the looks department, the reliability department, the total amount of vehicles sold department or the lowest depreciation department? Please don't say all of the above!!!

Well, I think he means that GM has awesome product, reliability, quality, vehicles that people WANT to own.  Let's look at each division, and see the best right now...shall we:

Chevrolet:
2010 Camaro (almost here)
2010 Equinox (almost here)
2009 Malibu
2009 Silverado
2009 Traverse
2009 Tahoe/Suburban
2009 Avalanche

Pontiac:
2009 G8
2009 Solstice

GMC:
2009 Acadia
2009 Sierra
2010 Terrain (almost here, not revealed yet)

Buick:
2009 Enclave (of course  ;D )
2010 Lacrosse

Cadillac:
2009 CTS, and most the rest in the lineup is great

Saturn:
2009 Aura
2009 Astra
2009 Outlook (had to include it, since it's a Lambda too, but I think its days are numbered)

Anyway, there is lots of kick @$$ product out there from GM, you just need to get the "GM is junk" mindset out of your head, and realize there is tons of good GM product to choose from.

Exactly!

Where do you get the " I have the mindset that G.M is junk" from? I was asking what I thought was a good question and get fed this crap. I am a G.M. fan but lets be realists. 1. Chev Camaro not here yet so we don't know. 2. Same for the Equinox. 3. Here in my neck of the woods Pontiac G8s and Soltsices aren't selling. 4. 2010 Lacrosse. Not here yet. 5. All Saturn products are struggling with sales more than the rest of the G.M. lineup. There is pesimism and optimism and REALITY.

maybe, in discussions like this, it would be better to separate each divission when bashing or bragging. each of those divissions serves different group of customers who want different things, so to refer to certain car as a GM product is missleading - somebody like one thing and another person hates it but still drives other GM car. GM is just too huge, maybe if they would separate into independent divissions the good ones would survive. (just my 2c)

My post was in response to the "GM kinda sucks" remark and trolling comments like that.

GM has some models with great looks, some models with great reliability, they have some top sellers, and some that do quite will in the as far as depreciation. They have some vehicles that do great in most of these categories, and some that do great in only a few, and some that do great in none of them (Aveo).

No company is tops in all of those categories. No brand is tops in all of these categories either. I am not sure you can even find a model that would be tops in all of these categories.

In looks, I think GM does well. There are a few dark spots out there today. Mostly in the small car arena. And those are being addressed.

In reliability, I think GM is doing better than most would give them credit for. When GM wants to succeed in this, they do. Look at the Silverado and the attention that was paid to the new Malibu launch. GM needs to make sure this happens for more of their vehicles, and right now, are doing better with that.

Total vehicles sold, I really don't care about. If GM stays at or near the top, good for them. Profitability is more important. GM hasn't been very good at this. They have been make changes for several years now trying to fix this. The current market has changed the focus to this.

Lowest depreciation will improve as people realize that GM's quality has improved. GM does have some models that are doing well in depreciation. Another big part of that is making a car that people want to buy. People love the new Caddy CTS, and its resale value I believe is top in its class right now. I think the best brand at resale is Honda right now.

Enjoy the trolling.

I don't want to get into the squabble side of this thread, but I am really happy that Buick was rated tops. As a long time import owner (over 35 years), I feel I looked objectively at the Buick Enclave . Based on the merits of the car, the reviews I read, my impressions from the test drives, I purchased my Enclave over all the other "luxury" SUVs. One year later, it proved to be a smart decision. The Enclave is a great car, and when a company produces a great car, they should get all the accolades they can muster. As well, if it was a poor quality car, they should hear about it as well. The turnaround has to start somewhere, albeit sometimes with baby steps. Let's hope GM is wise and capitalizes on the Enclave success by using the steps that got it there into other lines. Already, chevy is using some of the better quality parts Buick uses and let's hope that trend continues. I believe if you have a quality product, people will seek you out even in a bad economy. As a financial guy, the analogy for me is that even when money is tight, money still finds the good deals. Ironically, a lot of the quality control features implemented on the Enclave were for their target market-China, where the Buick is their "cadillac". As a forum, I think our role is to let GM know that if they produce a quality product and support it properly with good service, customers will come back.

I saw the 2010 LaCrosse at the auto show a couple of weeks ago and love it!

My Lexus is due for replacement and have been looking at the LaCrosse as a replacement. From what I saw, the wait was worth it. My dealer is actually going to call me to make sure the first one ordered is decked out just like I want it.

Can't WAIT for it to show up. We will be a 3 Buick house (2 Enclaves, 1 LaCrosse) if it lives up to expectations!

First off a troll is someone who pops into a forum and states things that can't be substantiated...I have well over 1500 posts on this forum. Many over the past few months that are very negative, with just cause. If you don't like it , I dont really care. It is my hard earned money I used to purchase a subpar quality vehicle. Am I saying that every Enclave is subpar, no, have I ever, no.

"An "Internet troll" or "Forum Troll" or "Message Board Troll" is a person who posts outrageous message to bait people to answer. Forum Troll delights in sowing discord on the forums. A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion. Flaming discussions usually end with name calling and a flame war."

HMM sounds alot like what saying "GM kinda sucks" started.....
