When you place an order into the system the first step it goes to is 1100 (Preliminary) That means the order has passed GM's edit tables and is a valid "Buildable" order. It also is when an order # is generated and assigned to it. This order # is the one that will follow it until it is built. It also is what is used to make sure you have things like price protection in the case of a price increase between the order time and invoice time. 1101 is essentially the same thing as 1100. The only difference is 1101 is more of an internal code for GM. They both still mean that it is a preliminary order still. When your order gets accepted by GM for production it will move to 2000. Here is the brief list of Status codes that are applicable to an order as far as the customer is concerned.:

Order status codes:
1100 = Preliminary Order (Order passed GM edit tables but dealers has not received allocation to place order)
2000 = Accepted By GM (Dealer used allocation to place order into production)
2500 = Preferenced (Order pulled to the production system)
3000 = Accepted By Production Control (Order input into the production system)
3100 = Sequenced (Order sequenced for Production)
3300 = Scheduled For Production (Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle)
3400 = Broadcast (Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together)
3800 = Produced (Order is built and VIN# shows in the Dealer Order system now)
4150 = Invoiced (Order is invoiced to the dealer)
4200 = Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
5000 = Delivered To Dealer
6000 = Delivered To Customer

There are other codes but they are almost exclusively used internally by GM and have no real effect on the status of the order as pertaining to the customer.

When you order your Enclave or any other GM vehicle you can call them and ask what the Status Event Code is, and they will give you one of the numbers above. This will help you figure out where your order is within the system.

I ordered PCK and evidently mine got built last week. Expected delivery to dealer is week of 6/25.
I'm attending my dealer's "launch event" tonight so I will see if I get more information.
So what is a "Launch Event"? Is it specifically for Enclave's? Do you have to buy your car from the dealer to attend?

We tried to change our entertainment package when we were at status code 3000. Our dealer told us it was not possible. I read on here elsewhere that once you reach the 3000's with a build week you cant change without losing your spot in line and starting the waiting process over again.

I contacted our dealer today and he indicated that our order had been "pick up" by GM. I'm guessing this is code 2500. We ordered a CX AWD WDT. Any thoughts on how long the process might take from here? I am still worried about the WDT paint and how long it might take to get through the system.

We placed our order on 2/23/08 and I am already impatient. I can't imaging how those of you who ordered early last year must have felt waiting 3, 4, 5, or 6 months.......

My order was put it on 2/21 (red jewel cxl awd) so it will be interesting to see who's takes longer to get. I didn't ask the dealer for weekly updates, just wanted him to let me know when there was a build week. Hoping for an early surprise but expecting the 2-3 month wait.

I just got word from my dealer that my order was accepted by GM and was bumped to 2000. I put the order in on 3/28, so hopefully from here it will go fast. For a while there I was worried that my order was going to be sitting at 1100 for a long time, so I am very relieved! :D

My order has been in the 3800 status for 11 days now. Should I be worry, I am getting antsy because I would prefer to take delivery before the end of February 2011.

at 3800 the vehicle now had a VIN.
Call your dealer and tell them your vehicle has a vin- and would like to get the financing out of the way-
Some dealers will do this- especially if youre running out of time to get a promo.
Some dealers wont. but worth a try.

6000 = Delivered To Customer

yes several members on the traverse and acadia used the site- as well as camarotracking.com to keep tabs of their order.

the dealer knows very well what the order # is.

when I ordered my traverse- the salesman gave me a printout of my order which included the order #.

at that time this neat website wasnt up---

wow, american! You went from 3400 to 3800 fast there! Mine just went to 3400, so maybe it's right behind yours! So exciting! I'm in the middle of a 1500 mile road trip and sure wish I had the new E to drive it in! :-[

Maybe it will be in your driveway upon your return ;) I wasn't tracking it on-line for a while so the timing is questionable. Regardless of my experience, it seems to be different for everyone. Chances are that mine has been shipped and is on-route to my dealer but that it won't get here before I leave on vacation on April 1st. If that occurs I won't pick it up until April 9th. Sooo................. you could get yours before we take delivery. I'll be following this closely :thumb:

I ordered a 2013 Enclave on November 14th, 2012 and drove it off the dealer lot a little less than 4 weeks later! The dealer had never seen that before and the stars must have all aligned or something. I tried to track it on GMConnects but it turns out that site is no longer showing status. One of the people who run the site said that GM is no longer allowing them access to the data to provide status on that site.

Congratulations! I find the change in the vehicle production site a bit puzzling, especially if the 2013 Enclaves are being produces so quickly. :shrug:
