get error message traction control off when driving on a nice sunny day. get messages service traction control ,service stabilitrack & park assist off after a few miles everything goes back to normal. Also, the rpm goes to 0 and Odometer does to 0. Its like the dash turns itself off for a few seconds. If I turn off the car at the time it happens it will not restart for 15-20 minutes. dealer cannot find any error codes. anybody have like problem.

Welcome :welcome: to the forum, and good luck with your Enclave.

When I hear stuff like this I immediately think "water leak" right or wrong.

I had this exact same thing happen on my Denali. What was the issue? The main air intake hose from the air filter came loose at the throttle body. Once it was tightened back up, problem went away and never came back :thumb:

I just got my 08 back from the dealer for the same issue. They found a bad connected on a wire somewhere. Only been a few days but havnt seen the light yet!

during the last episode onstar came up with three codes u0100, u0101 and fscu0100. I'll take them to the dealer service department. I hope it can help. the codes do not stay in the car system.
Wow! this is one of the only times that I've read that OnStar picked up a diagnosis code! You are quite lucky, since this will give your techs a head start in resolving the problem. ;)

It happens in dry weather no raining. the dealer cannot find a cause for the problem.
hes referring to the possibility that you may have sunroof- and its possible the leak has damaged wiring. I believe there are reports of the fusebox getting wet.

you have more messages displaying.. but this shows part of it-- which may not be your problem.

The magnetic encoder consists of multiple North and South pole
pairs surrounding the outer circumference. When the magnetic
encoder ring rotates and passes by the wheel speed sensor head,
it generates a sine wave in the wheel speed sensor. The wheel
speed sensor converts an analog signal to a digital square wave,

14mA (High) DC current.

remove the foreign debris from
the magnetic encoder ring. If
debris was removed, proceed

If debris still remains, wash the
encoder ring using a mild soap
detergent and wipe dry.

I think it is more than sensors. when it acts up the car doors lock and unlock. the rear view camera stayed on will my wife was driving down the road. I wish it was just the wheel sensors they could fix that. I think it is a short in the system somewere. It only acts up when it wants to. they are having a hard time getting it to repeat itself. If I took it home it would act up. the buick rep does not have an answer.

I had service T/C message come on and also the stability control turned off.. Drove it like this for about 1hour, then it corrected itself. About 15 Min. later it Repeated the error message again for another 20 min, then went away on it's own ?? My question is I thought this would leave a code that the techs could bring up???Have read other posts on trans and other problems were it has been stated no codes could be found.. Anyway took mine to dealer and they said no malfunction codes could be found??? Just when do any codes come up?? I thougth if the messages show a malfunction/service needed there would be a code to coinside with this ??? Confused...

Most of the owners contact OnStar and ask if they can pull up an error code. Usually that is done as soon as they can therefore one would have the code when making the appointment with the dealer. I was lucky I did not contact OnStar but FINALLY Reichard did pull the code and corrected the problem, of which 4 other dealers did not.

Of course the dealer will tell you that, its a cash cow for them. Any Reputable after market parts are just as good if not better than OEM, Moog. TRW, to name a couple. I would stay away from off brand for sure.
. You can get AC Delco online or at plenty of auto parts stores.
Exactly what were the messages. Service Stability Control. ??? Service Traction Control??
These are software generated messages which could be one or more sensor driven.
Wheel Reluctor Pickup, Maybe it is dirty and needs cleaning.
Brake Fluid Low.
Brake Pedal position sensor. Check to see if brake light is on with pedal in rest position.
Steering wheel position sensor.

I cannot recall the rest but there are plenty of posts on these messages, one member changed the engine compartment fuse box and eliminated his messages, in fact, there is a class action lawsuit filed in CA for this.
Dirty Throttle body, Clean it with CRC Throttle body cleaner as per instructions, while you are at it clean the Mass Air Flow sensor with CRC Mass air Flow sensor cleaner. No I don't work for CRC.

Yeah I clean the throttle body I had no oil up in the ear snorkel or whatever you want to call it and throttle body wasn't that dirty but I cleaned it check that hose that went down and that was clear I don't know where to go from here I'm not going to keep going to the dealer charging me an arm and a leg I have a case number on the sod dealer over here just waiting to hear back from her and I read that other people add file the case same thing they never call you back
