Have you read the owners manual on what may cause it not to operate? The setting in the DIC may have changed as well.

 

Remote start is disabled with any check engine lights I believe.

Also, you have to hit the lock button, then hold the start button for a few seconds, for it to work from the fob. Even if it’s already locked.

 

Are the lights flashing and it does nothing?

Yes, lock is pressed, remote start is pressed until lights flash once, then....nothing.

 

I have same issue but I do have a check engine light. Auto Zone won't reset it.

 

I dont know if they are allowed to reset it but they usually will tell you what the code is. Will they tell?

 

Yes they told me. It was something to do with the gas cap so didn't worry about it.

I had a error code and after fixing that it worked ok.
