Sunroof stuck in vent position?

Hey everyone! Recently bought a used 2011 Enclave CXL and have had it for maybe a month. Was driving it yesterday and noticed a whistle from the sunroof and realized it wasn't closed all the way. I'm not sure if it was in the "official" vent position but my guess was probably not since the back of the sunroof was up a centimeter or so, probably less.

Anyway, I park and try to close the sunroof all the way and the back opens up maybe an inch or two and now it doesn't respond at all. I left the car overnight like this and tried again this morning to no avail.

Any ideas?

I haven't done anything with the battery or anything electrical in the car since buying it.

:welcome: to the forum, jamiller619. Have you tried lifting or pressing gently on the sunroof glass panel either before you try pressing the button to close it or while pressing the button? Have you checked the fuse? Just some thoughts.
Hey cfedor! Thanks for the welcome :)

Yeah I tried pressing on the glass panel gently in case it was stuck, but it wasn't moving and nothing happened afterwards. I did check the fuse as well and it's good.

In other news last night I tried closing it again (I do every time I get in it now) and it worked! But now it's stuck in the closed position. Tried opening it immediately after and nada, nothing, ziltch. Better than it being stuck in the vent position I suppose! I'm gonna keep trying and if in a few days it's still not operating correct I'll call up the dealership.
